Obituary of Charles G. Pierce

Age 74, of Mt. Lebanon, on May 31, 2013. Charles was the only surviving triplet born on March 3, 1939 in Marianna, son of the late Hazlett and Lena Shrontz Pierce. Beloved husband of Nancy (Balint) Pierce for 31 years, loving father of Joseph (Rachel) Pierce, grandfather of Matthew and Lindsay, brother of Raymond (Elaine) Pierce of Fortville IN, and Elsie (Ed) Gray of Amity, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 2 infant brothers, a sister Carrie Lee Reilly, and a brother Hazlett "Dude" Pierce. Lucky was truly a good man and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was employed as a Food Service Supervisor at the former Woodville State Hospital. An avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Proudly served in the US Marine Corp. as a Corporal from 1956 to 1958. A member of the Bridgeville American Legion, the Bridgeville Italian Club, and the Chartiers Valley Beagle Club. All services are private at the request of the family. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
