Obituary of Dolores C. Mokwa

Age 83, of Bridgeville, formerly of Pleasant Hills, on April 30, 2013. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Carl J. Mokwa, loving mother of Carol (Thomas Beardshall) Mokwa, James (Gina Levow) Mokwa, Linda Mokwa and Thomas (Karen) Mokwa, grandmother of Koren, Christina, Christopher, Tyler, Quaronna and David Beardshall and Teresa Brooks, sister of Marian (the late Edward) Binder, Raymond (Marie) Wiehagen and the late William, Edward, Robert and Angela Wiehagen, sister-in-law of Dolores (the late William) Wiehagen and Kathryn (the late Leonard) Mokwa, also many loving nieces and nephews. A retired administrative assistant for the Univ. of Pittsburgh. She thrived on volunteer work and was actively involved with the Bridgeville Public Library. Dolores was a caring friend to many. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending winters in Florida with Carl. Friends received Friday, 2-4 & 6-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10 AM, in Holy Child Parish. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgeville Public Library, 505 McMillen St., Bridgeville, PA 15017.
