Obituary of Charles D. Alderson

Alderson Charles D., Jr. Age 71, of Canonsburg, unexpectedly on April 12, 2013. He was born on April 25, 1941, in Canonsburg. A son of the late Charles and Josephine Malinak Alderson. On March 31, 1963, he married Margaret (Fortunato) Alderson, who survives. Mr. Alderson was a retired Assistant Superintendent for Port Authority Transit. He was and an avid golfer and loved his two dogs. Surviving along with his wife are two children; Rosemarie Tinneville and Vince Alderson, two grandchildren; Addie and Andrew Alderson, two sisters; Faye (Paul) Warchol and Patty (late Howard) Foltz and a brother; Richard Alderson. Deceased is a son; Mark Alderson, a brother; Wesley Alderson and a sister; Bonnie Bell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received Sunday, 6-8 PM and Monday 2-4 & 6-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM, in St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp.
