Obituary of John F. Bath

Age 89, of Bridgeville, on Monday, November 18, 2013. Beloved husband of LaVerne (Long) Bath for 64 years; loving father of Linda (the late Joe) Shutzberg and Nancy (Frank) Pleasants; son of the late Pearl and Harry Bath; brother of Ruth Hahn and Janet Carey; brother-in-law of Dorothy Thomas and cherished grandfather of Stephen and Mark Shutzberg and Matthew (Morgan) and Zachary Hayward. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack served proudly in the US Army Air Corps during WWII as a member of the Air Transport Command. He worked as an editorial artist for the Pittsburgh Press and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:00PM at Holy Child Parish.
