A few words about my grandmother. I am so greatful to have had her in my life. She has taught me many things that I have gone on to do, how to crochet, how to do needle point, how to can food and grow a vegetable garden, the list is long and I cherish every thing she taught me. She always told me you have to keep moving. No matter how much pain she was in no one would ever know because she always had a smile on her face and she kept on moving. She lighted up many a heart and was the most respected, loved, dignified women I have been blessed to have as a grandmother. Grandma, you will be missed and will always be in my heart and in everything that I do. Rest in peace. I love you.

As I sit down to write this note I find it hard to hold back the tears. Tears falling as I think of all the good times.. the simple times.. the times that will not be forgotten. As I and my children have learned there is so much to learn from our alders. Anna Dunlap, was a neighbor,a grandma to my kids and most of a special person that taught me that things are never that bad and life is good. She made others life's great. The laughs, the hugs the true understanding of life. For Heaven is truly a better place now that our neighbor, our friend, our grandma Anna Dunlap now sits besides God.

I would like to take a moment to say a few words about my Grandmother, One of the nicest people that I have ever come to know in my life. She could light up a room with her smile just by walking into it. She was always able to take something terrible and turn it into something wonderful. I have never met anyone who was loved by so many people, anyone who ever met Grandma could not help but love her because she had a way of making you feel good about everything. Nothing seemed to bother her and nobody seemed to upset her. unless they happened to be playing the Steelers that week. She was truely one of gods beautiful creations. And will be sorely missed by many. Grandma I will always remember you and hold a special place in my heart for you because you truley were special and I am honored to say you where my Grandmother.
I love you and will miss you always. May you rest in peace.

I always thought of my nana as a wonderful person. I never really saw her very much but when i did, i had the greatest memories that will stick with me forever. I pray for my nana all the time hoping she is ok but now she is in god's presence. She will always be with me in my heart and we were blessed to have her.

My thoughts are with you all during these sad days of laying Mom to rest and dealing with losing her. I have been blessed with the wonderful joy of having this sweet lady as a "Mom" for 35 years and will never forget all of the talks and fun we had. Her kindness, love and generosity and the way she greeted each day with a smile for everyone with no complaints were amazing. I think she just may have been put in our lives so teach us how to handle life gracefully, and I can only hope to be half the person she was in her quiet sweet way.
May God be with you all as you grieve for Mom and give you comfort in knowing that she was a treasure here but will be even more of a treasure for Him in heaven.
Love, Carol
