Obituary of Howard E. Maxwell

Maxwell Howard E., Jr. "Lefty" Age 87, of Upper St. Clair, on March 3, 2013. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Stolpe) Maxwell, loving father of Dr. Alan (Belinda) Maxwell and Bonnie (Chris) Erler, grandfather of Alana (Sandy) Stuart, Matthew Maxwell, Brett (Ericka) Pate, Scott Majesky and Chris Majesky, great-grandfather of Will Stuart and brother of the late Laverne Martin. A 1948 graduate of Penn State Univ., where he was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity and a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Maxwell was a retired senior engineer for U.S. Steel and a longtime and active member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, PA 15017.
