Obituary of Ernest Krek

Krek Ernest F. Sr. Age 84, of Bridgeville, on December 14, 2012. Beloved husband for 50 years of the late Dorothy (Vukotich) Krek, loving father of Nicole (Ralph) Kelly, Janine (Bob) Leonard and Ernest F. Krek Jr., devoted grandfather of Carrie (Dan) Leonard, Bob (Brenda) Leonard, Eric (Megan) Leonard, Jeffrey Krek, Emily (Jeremy) Krek and Jacob Kelly, great-grandfather of Brenna, Dylan, Alaina, Sebastian and Riley, brother of Frank Krek, Mary Ann Gordon and the late Joseph, Felix and John Krek, Sylvia Medvid and Frances Marcinkewicz. A veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army and a member of the Bridgeville American Legion, Post #54. Mr. Krek worked as a millwright for 47 years at Universal Cyclops, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed 20 years of retirement, traveling and caring for his family. Friends received Sunday, 2-8 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333).
