Obituary of James J. Gabelhart
Age 86, of Bridgeville, on April 2, 2012. Beloved husband of Ruth S. Gabelhart, loving father of James Jeffrey Gabelhart, Jr., Mark Frederick (Marty) Gabelhart, Elizabeth Ann (Glenn) Kazan, Martha Louise Gabelhart, Scott William (Susan) Gabelhart and Hope Noelle (Kenneth) Nusbaum, 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. A veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp and a graduate of Waynesburg University. Mr. Gabelhart owned Gabel Pontiac-Cadillac, in Brockton, MA and the Carriage House in Windsor, VT. He also worked as a district manager for Pontiac Motor Division in Boston, MA. A member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville and served as a director of the WWII memorial to be built in Pittsburgh. Jim was a long standing member of the Bridgeville Breakfast Club for WWII veterans and all other veterans. Friends received Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11 AM, in Bethany Presbyterian Church (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
