BOGDEWIECZ Bernard "Bernie" Age 85, of Bridgeville, on December 21, 2011, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Virginia (Kuten) Bogdewiecz for 62 years. Beloved father of Denise Nicotero of Bridgeville, Janet (John) Diethorn of Murrysville, Joan Hassett of AZ, and Ginny (Grant) Parsons of AZ, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Louise Monaco. Brother-in-law of Eleanor Bogdewiecz. Preceded in death by parents, Conrad and Felicia (Rupinski) Bogdewiecz, and brothers, Robert and George. A US Navy veteran serving in WWII. Friends received Monday, 2-9 pm in the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:30 am in Holy Child Parish.
