Dearest Slack family,
The world has has lost a warm and loving person. We''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''ll remember Jim for his kind soul, gentle eyes and a smile and laugh that was contagious. He was admired and loved by all who knew him.
May if comfort you to know that death cannot diminish the important ways Jimmy touched your life. Grief can not take away the happiness you shared. Sorrow will fad in time, but love remains forever.
We hope you find some comfort and peace with the love and embraces offered by family and friends and the beautiful memories (only you shared with jimmy).
love and prayers

Dear Jimmy and Donna,
I've been reading through the condolences. Jimmy must have been a truly special person, full of love and laughter, raised in a family filled with love. There are no words to even imagine the grief your family has endured this past month, and to lose your son, too... My heart aches for you and all of your family. May God be with you in this terrible, terrible time.

We are so sorry about the loss of Jimmy. Our daughter Angelica went to high school with Jimmy, and as she lives on the North Side, she worked tirelessly trying to find out what happened to him. It is so sad that it did not turn out well. You are in our prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Slack Family,
I was a classmate of Jimmy's ever since kindergarten until middle school. Jimmy was truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. I remember as a little kid when the other kids would tease (as children do), Jimmy would have that smile on his face and would have the sweetest things to say. It says a lot about someone who can just be so wonderful from such an early age.
The loss of Jimmy is something beyond words can express. It is simply tragic. I haven't seen nor spoken to Jimmy in years, but still just the thought of him missing from this world breaks my heart. I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope you know Jimmy has touched many lives, including my own. He was always a shimmering light when it was needed most. I had always appreciated his generosity to me over the years when so few offered it. I am left with regret to think I never expressed gratitude later in life, yet I do hope he will hear it in my prayers.
He will be missed.
