Slack Joseph W., Sr. Age 81, of Scott Twp., on December 12, 2011. Beloved husband for 62 years of Ruth (Portman) Slack, loving father of James (Donna) Slack, Sr., Deborah (Michael) Grumet, Joseph "Bill" (Leesa) Slack, Jr., Thomas (Heidi) Slack, Carol (John) Platzer, Suzanne (John) Nemec, Jennifer (Beau) Quattrone, Michael (Jennifer) Slack and the late Mary Carlisle and her husband Mark, who survives, brother of Mary Jean O"Donnell, Margaret Catherine Buck, Donna Ann Warden and the late Robert Slack and Kathleen Scott Belak, grandfather of Matthew, Michael and Mark Carlisle, Maureen Shields, James Slack II, Laura Slack, Carrie Lehman, Alison Grumet, Emily Spence, Jacqueline Fury, Jessica Hutton, Kim Tornabene, Nicole Slack, John and Michael Platzer, Michelle Muckleroy, Daniel Platzer, John and Andrew Nemec, Anna, Zachary and Elizabeth Quattrone, Ethan and Warren Slack, also 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A retired Port Authority bus driver and a member of S.N.P.J. #6, Sygan. Friends received Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10 AM, in Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott Twp.
