For the parents of Jeff-
I only knew your son through my daughter and her husband when he was stationed with them at Fort Leavenworth. I know that he was a special friend to them, often in their home. They will miss his friendship. My condolences to you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kramer family. I had the honor of getting to know Jeff a little bit at Boy Scout summer camp this year. He was a very bright and honorable young man; a true role model for all Scouters. The world has lost a truely good man. Jeff, you will be greatly missed.

I had the destinct honor of getting to know Jeff through personal and work experiences as well as the Scouting community. Whenever each of us had a dilemma, we knew we could call on the other for help. Jeff was a leader, soldier, Scout, Scouter, and Best Friend to all. He gave everyone a 110% service commitment. Thank you, Jeff, for those last great moments we spent in NYC!
My deepest prayers go out to the Kramer Family. Please know that I am with you during this very hard time as Jeff is with all of us now and forever.
To my Best Friend, Jeff Kramer --
Liberty, the place for YOU. Liberty, In God's Country.
Stars in the sky tell us God is here. Fire's A Glowin' show friends are near.
Liberty, the place for YOU. Liberty, where Scouting should be.
---- You kept Scouting Alive in Liberty and Heritage Reservation...
May the Great Camp Director watch over us until we meet again!

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
And that is dying...
-Henry Van Dyke
Jeff not only lived the life of a mighty ship, but taught others to do the same. For that I am deeply grateful, and my deepest sympathy goes out to his family and many friends.
Sincerely,
Ryan Geraghty, LHC-BSA

Our deepest sympathy to the family of one of fellow Scouters. God be with you. Chuck is the Ranger at Camp Baker. It always sad when one goes so young. Heaven is Jeff's new camp.
