Obituary of Louis A. Dernosek

DERNOSEK Louis A., Jr. Age 86, of South Fayette, on November 11, 2011. Beloved husband of Catherine (Dometrovich) Dernosek; loving father of Louis (Susan) Dernosek of Durham, NC, Cathy (Tom) McGivern, Dan (Aimee) Dernosek, and Keith (Stacy) Dernosek, all of South Fayette; brother of Gloria (Bern) Carrick of South Fayette, and the late Theresa Ratti and Anne Morgan; grandfather of Paxton, Ryan, Josh, Aaron, Jennifer, Sean, Derek, Amanda, and Jess, great-grandfather of Madison and Brooklyn. Lou was a lifetime member of Holy Child Parish, where he was a member of the choir. He was the owner of Louie"s Market, lifetime member of the Fairview Volunteer Fire Dept., and member of the Western PA SNPJ Button Box Club. A USAF Veteran, serving during WWII, as a pilot from 1943-1945. Friends received Monday, 6-8 pm and Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 am in Holy Child Parish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Child Parish, 212 Station Street, Bridgeville, PA 15017, or to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
