VASILOPOULOS Dr. Nicholas N. Age 77, of Pittsburgh, on August 19, 2011. Loving father of Lisa (R.J.) Mott, of Baldwin, Karen (Ron) Palonis, of Canonsburg, and Paul (Sharon) Vasilopoulos, of Upper Saddle River, NJ. Grandfather of Chelsea and Jared Mott, Ryan and Brandon Palonis, and Justin Vasilopoulos. Brother of Katherine (Mickey) Garone, of Long Island, NY, the late Olympia Manners, and the late Coula Trigg. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Pitt Medical School. Dr. Vasilopoulos ran private practice in the South Hills for over 15 years. He was also on staff at Kane Hospital and was the Medical Director at Beaver Valley Geriatric Center prior to retirement. A US Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. Friends received Tuesday, 2-9 pm in the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, 10 am.
