Obituary of Charles R. Rocco

ROCCO Charles R. Of Germantown, TN, died peacefully on July 27, 20ll, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He grew up and attended schools in Bentleyville, PA and was a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. A United States Army veteran, he was a retired employee of Chrysler Corporation where he worked for 35 years. Hired as a trainee, he held multiple managerial and executive positions in both the Sales and Service Divisions of the company, relocating several times in his career. As much as he enjoyed his work, his family came first in his life. He leaves his loving wife Mary Jane, at home; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard and Susan Rocco, his grandchildren, Andrew and Isabelle, who gave him great joy, all of Naperville, IL; and his two sisters, Marian Mazutis (Peter) of Bentleyville, PA, and Lillian Bercosky (Robert) of Marianna, PA. A faithful communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Germantown, TN, he was a caring and generous person. He had a wonderful sense of humor, never met a stranger, and treated everyone with respect. Visitation will be Saturday, August 6th, 10:30 to 11:30am, at Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon, at St. Barbara Church, Bridgeville PA., where he and his wife were married 51 years ago. Internment in St. Barbara Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, Birthright of Memphis, TN or any charity of your choice.
