Cox Rev. John "Jack", Sr. Age 88, of Asbury Heights, Mt. Lebanon, on April 9, 2011. Beloved husband of Dora C. Cox, loving father of Edith (Harry) Heidrich, Naomi (David) Harriger, John "Skip" (Janet) Cox, Jr., Laura Cox and Jim (Brenda) Cox, brother of Earl (Verna) Cox and the late Dorothy Fox and her husband Robert and the late Rev. Albert Cox and his wife Ruth, also 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A United Methodist Minister in the Western Pennsylvania Conference, where he served for many years. A veteran of WW II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. A member of Centennial Lodge #544, F&AM and the American Legion. Friends received Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a service will be held Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment will be private in Church Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor"s choice.
