Ruth L. Forsyth Collier Ruth L. Forsyth, 92, died Monday May 23, 2011. She was the beloved wife of 64 years of the late George W. Forsyth and loving daughter of Elmer and Lilis Brunson. Preceded in death by her sister Alice Moore, she is survived by her daughters Lana Halstead (Butch), Jean Tiemens (Herb Comet) and Ruth A. Forsyth (James Denvir); grand children William Bowman (Darlene), George Bowman (Tanya), Herman Tiemens (Tang-Lin), and Sandra Tiemens (Aaron Turner); and great grandchildren Benjamin Bowman, Dakota Bowman , Chenoa Bowman, Aiyana Bowman, Eli Bowman, Ticie Bowman, Cecily Bowman, Collin Tiemens, and Maya Turner. Additionally she is survived and remembered by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth grew up in McKeesport, PA where she met her husband George as a sophomore in High School. The couple resided for many years in Monongahela PA where they raised their family, and she has lived with her daughter and son-in-law Ruth and Jim in Collier for the last 12 years. Ruth was an excellent seamstress and baker and loved to share the fruits of these talents with those she loved. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, June 4th at 10AM at Old St. Lukes Church, 330 Washington Pike, Carnegie PA. 15106.
