Obituary of Edward L. Smith

Smith Edward L. Age 79, of South Fayette, formerly of Bethel Park, on Sunday December 16, 2018, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on August 25, 1939, in Midway, PA. Son of the late John and Doris Smith, loving husband for 50 years of Shirley (Paulin) Smith, beloved father of Kevin (Danielle) Smith, devoted “Pappy” of Grady, Spencer and Courtney Smith, brother of John (Darlene) Smith and the late Richard Smith. A retired employee of H.J. Heinz, where he worked for 31 years. After retirement, Mr. Smith loved driving a school bus for Bethel Park School District. He was an avid golfer, bowler, card player and he enjoyed vacationing at the beach. Family and friends are invited to share in a memorial service Thursday, December 20th, at 11 am, at Christ United Methodist Church.
