Michele was one of my dearest and closest friends from high school in Waynesboro. She and I were in shorthand and typing classes together and more often than not, Michele and I were getting each other in trouble (usually it was Michele’s fault—or so I remember!) She and I continued our close friendship through the years and enjoyed each other‘s company as often as we could. She was a bright light and spirit here on earth and now her light shines even brighter in God’s heaven. I will miss her dearly and will always remember her vivacious laugh, her beautiful smile and her bigger than life personality. My thoughts, love and prayers are with her family.

The Waynesboro Class of 1964 holds reunions every five years. Our reunions will never be the same again without our energetic, fun -loving, and spirit-filled Michele. The photo of Michele wearing her poodle skirt and me stuffed into my letter sweater (she made me do it), will be forever cherished. My grandson will always recall his favorite Christmas surprises as Michele sent the most amazing Pittsburg Steeler memorabilia to him, a very happy little Virginia fan. My wife and I are so sorry for your loss but know that heaven is rejoicing with Michele's arrival.
Blessings to you,
Arnie Doyle

Michele was my first cousin and I have many fond memories of visiting the family in Waynesboro when we were children. She was so energetic and could run like a deer! I had to sit down on the porch to rest as she would run through the woods. We rarely saw each other as adults but visited several years ago as she visited her children in our area. She was always gracious and friendly. Our hearts are sorrowful as we grieve the loss of one of our precious cousins. My love and condolences to her family. Love you, Michele! Michele and I were friends at Waynesboro High. She and friends would come to Haney’s after school where I worked. Think of her often. I will miss her but she will forever be in my memories . Les

Michele and I were great friends in high school. She, Bill Alexander and I went in Michele's MG to see her aunt (I think) across the mountain. She had a pool. Michele and I shocked her when we had a long kiss under water! The two of us got in lots of trouble, but we had a wonderful time. I will miss Michele and those days!
Sincerest condolences.
