Obituary of Donald Jones

Age 90, of Bridgeville, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on September 14, 2018. Beloved husband of Sara (Barnhart) Jones; preceded in death by his parents Islwyn and Ethel (Berlew) Jones and siblings Robert Jones and Dorothy Massler; loving father of Catherine (Michael) Wildes of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Virginia Johnson of Exeter, PA and Donald Jones of West Pittston, PA; stepfather of Michelle Goetz and Kimberly (Mark) Lira; cherished grandfather of Jeremiah (Jancik), Eric (Joan) Jancik, Michael Johnson, Donald Jones, Kaleb Lira and Nathan Lira; great grandfather of Lucas and Haley Rose Jancik and Poppy to Angelo Kuhn. Donald was a devoted Pitt fan and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Family and friends received on Monday from 5-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeville.
