Obituary of Nicole Morris

Age 47 of Bridgeville, formerly of Avella, passed away on August 31, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 5, 1971 in Washington, PA, cherished daughter of James J. and Toni (Venditti) Morris; loving sister of Andrea (Dino) DeFabbo and Jason (Jill) Morris; beloved aunt of Isabella and Sam DeFabbo and Rudy Morris; niece of Mia (Tim) Daudet, Rudy Venditti and Valencia (Terry) Walker; also many loving cousins. Nicole graduated from Avella High School, earned her B.S. in Special Education at California University and worked as a teacher in Washington and Chartiers Houston. She received her M.S. in Educational Leadership and worked as a principal for I.U. in East Franklin, Chartiers Houston, Bethel Park, I.U. Brownsville and Washington. She was a member of CEC Council for Exceptional Children and Volunteered for the Special Olympics. Nicole loved spending time with family and friends, especially her niece and nephews. Family and friends received on Monday, September 3, from 2-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 10 AM at Holy Child Parish, EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital or Family Hospice and Palliative Care.
