Obituary of Ronald J. Rothermund

Age 82, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Bridgeville, on August 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Betty Jane (Boucher) Rothermund for 48 years; loving father of Jerome (Kayo) Rothermund and Jodi Rothermund; grandfather of Julia and Justin Rothermund; son of the late Nelson and Elizabeth (Weber) Rothermund; cherished brother of Richard and the late Robert Rothermund and favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ronald was an employee of Cyclops Steel for 24 years and retired as a Senior Systems Analyst with Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was a dedicated choir member at Faith Lutheran Church. Ronald loved his family, traveling and sports, especially golf. Family and friends received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 80 Bartley Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or to the American Heart Association.
