Obituary of Donald L. Dolde

Age 79, of Bridgeville, on August 4, 2018. Beloved husband of Lou Ann (High) Dolde for 30 years; loving father of Donald Dolde, David Dolde and Daniel Dolde; brother of Dianne (John) Franjione, Dolores (Charles) Davis and Beverly (Robert) Benkowski; step-father of David Foley and Brian Foley and cherished grandfather of Dakota Dolde and Carmella Dolde. Don served as Mayor of Bridgeville for 24 years and was known for his longtime civic involvement. He owned and operated Bridgeville Paint and Hardware for 25 years; and was a lifelong member of Bridgeville United Methodist Church and a member of the Char-Val Singers for over 50 years. Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Bridgeville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in Don’s memory.
