Obituary of Beverly J. McCartney

McCartney Beverly J. Age 79, of Oakdale, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hal. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Naomi Manning and sister of the late Charles Manning and Barbara Kunz. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tracy (Michael) and son, Hal. She was the devoted grandmother to Zachary and Gage Zurcher. Beverly was blessed with so many special friends, including Mary Buratti and Pat Rackie who devoted so much of themselves to help with her care in the last year of her life. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. She truly cherished every relationship and was an amazing person who gave selflessly of her time & love to everyone. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Warchol Funeral Home, 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville PA 15017 and a memorial service on Thursday, July 19 at 10am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Montours Presbyterian Church in Beverly’s memory – 3151 Montour Church Road, Oakdale PA 15071.
