Gavran; loving mother of Mary Lou (Joe Martinelli) Miller, Thomas (Kathy) Borner, the late Kathleen (Bud Tyler) Pollnac, Barbara Borner, Sandra (Bill) Bauer, Mark (Pat) Gavran, Vicky (John) Handshue and Mike (Cathy) Gavran; sister of James Porta, Charles Porta, Dorothy Barker and Cynthia Valent; cherished grandmother of TomE, Veronica and Anna Borner, Adam Pollnac, Clayton and Noah Bauer, Jamie and Kristi Gavran, A.J. and Lindsay Handshue, Michael Gavran and great grandmother of 3. Evelyn worked as a hairdresser, she organized bus trips for her business Gavran Tours and enjoyed visiting casinos. Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a service will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
