Taylor Stuber posted a condolence

Dear Green Family,
My name is Taylor and I'm a local volunteer that lives in your area.
I'm so sorry for your loss, and I was hoping to offer you some comfort and hope. Death truly is an enemy. God himself thinks of it as so. And he wants us to know that it is something he plans to do away with very soon. At Revelation 21:3,4 God promises that sadness, mourning, and yes even death will be no more. What a beautiful hope to look forward to! Not only that but at John 5:28,29 Jesus promises that the time is coming when all those that have passed away will be resurrected. Hold onto the hope that you will get to see Zachary again because Jehovah God is loving and it is impossible for him to lie. Please email me if you need to talk. I would love to speak more with you about this loving promise that affects us all.

We are very saddened to hear of Zach's passing. Over 16 years ago, he was one of the first friends and mentors we knew when we began our own travel ball. His hard work and dedication to the young ladies of our sport is unsurpassed. He will be so missed. Our deepest sympathy and prayers and our heartfelt thank you to you , Zach. May you rest in peace. God Bless. Andy and Sandy Popojas, Nitro Fastpitch

We are so sad to hear of Zac's passing. Jackie and I were totally shocked. We have many found memories of the three of us sharing a house and living together on route 51 in the early 70s. We were working together for the late Bill Fiore operating heavy equipment stripping coal and loading rail cars. We had season tickets to the Penguins hockey games at the Civic Arena. We attended so many Pirates games I lost count. Lot's of good memories there. We made the drive to visit his parents in Chicago a couple of times. Lots of trips to the laundry matt. Many good meals and beverages. Although we had not seen or spoken in years there are many fond memories to reflect on. A good guy who will be missed by many. You are in our prayers, Jim and Jackie

Is this the end or are we just beginning...........I grew up with Zach in Brown's Trailer Park in the 1960's and early '70's . He and his entire family were always good people to me and my parents. I couldn't have asked for a better childhood than growing up with him and Tanya during those less stressful days ! I remember my parents went to visit the Green's new residence in Scott twp., I did not go even though my girlfriend lived 2 minutes away, a decision I still regret. In closing I remember his black dog, the parakeet ,out Boy Scouting adventures and the Green's huge Buick "vista-cruiser" station wagon and Jim's beat-up work truck ! R.I.P. old friend, I have not seen you for 45 years but I still remember a friend and family ! "Timmy"

It is with heartfelt sadness that I express my deepest sympathies to Zach's family and friends. I was terribly shocked to read of his passing. I will always have my memories to look back on. Zach was a wonderful coach. I didn't always like to hear what he had to say about my pitching, but I always knew he was right. May he rest in peace.
