To the Kerting Family
I am so sorry for your loss. Lynn and I knew each other since he was 6 years old and we both entered the hazmat field. Lynn was always there to help me over the years and I always thought of Lynn as a very special friend. I know how mich he loved his family. God Bless him. I will miss him

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Lynn. Fonder memories of him will help us through our grieving. Lynn was a compatriot of mine while I was with BOE-AAR-TTCI. He was a professional and well respected within the industry. Although not a great "student", Lynn was quick to learn and pushed himself to do so. Lynn's many years of service to the RR industry speaks well of him. Lynn and I shared many laughs and many "hazardous" incidents. He was always quick to assist and lend his expertise. I feel honored to call him my friend. Again, fond memories of Lynn will remain with me. Take care, Tim Mannas

Lynn was my Cousin and great friend too. I will miss him much and remember him as a great friend most of all and also a Great person. We were born only days apart and grew up on Swallow Hill only 2 houses between us. We went thru all of school together including Charters Valley and Parkway West VoTech. We grew up roaming the woods and streams and field and junk yards and the "Block" just to mention a few memories. We did not have fancy TV with cable or all the toys and games that now occupy kids today. We played outside in a neighborhood full of friends and played ball and rode bikes and so much more. Yes, we were "mischievous" too and maybe more than that sometimes, but Boys will be Boys and we had a great great childhood. Lynn was an excellent mechanic and his 1957 Chevy Convertible was his pride and joy back in the day. He matured of course, like we all must, and his joy these past many years was Shea Lynne who he would endlessly talk about like a loving Grandfather does. He was a good honorable man who never lost his amazing blond hair and kindness to others. You did not want to mess with his hair !!! I miss ya Cuz !
