Age 86, of Bridgeville, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, with his wife and son by his side.  Beloved husband of Virginia “Ginny” (Veydt) Miscovey, the girl next door.  They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  Loving father of Douglas Miscovey of South Fayette, Ted’s pride and joy.  Devoted brother of JoAnn (late Ed) Williams of Cecil, Mary Lou Kavallierakis (late George) of Largo, Florida, and Susan (late Al) Malenka, of Clearwater, Florida.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Trebec) Miscovey, and an infant brother, Tommy Miscovey.  He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He leaves behind many good friends and caring neighbors.  Ted was a veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving in the U.S. Army. He served with the 630th Transportation Unit of Washington, PA.  He was a member of the Bridgeville American Legion, Post #54.  He was a long-time member of the Bridgeville United Methodist Church until its closing.  He then became a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park. He was a retired Port Authority bus driver.  A true outdoorsman, Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing at Cross Creek in his canoe, and growing vegetables in his garden.  In fact, he leaves behind a garden growing that he started in the spring.  Friends received Sunday, June 28, from 1-4 p.m. at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, where a funeral service will be held Monday, June 29, at 1 p.m.  Interment with military honors to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SouthBridge E.M.S., 178 Hickory Grade Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017.  View and add condolences at www.warcholfuneralhome.com
