On April 27, 2026, Kathleen Josephine Lindow, age 94, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children. Born on October 13, 1931, in Lismore, County Waterford, Ireland, Kay immigrated to the US in 1956 to marry George Lindow, a Pittsburgh GI stationed in Germany whom she met while working in post-war London. Settling into southwestern Pennsylvania, first in Carnegie, then Bridgeville, she dedicated her life to family, friends and community. She volunteered for many years at the Bridgeville Public Library and Meals on Wheels Bridgeville. Kay also loved the outdoors and spent as much time outside as she could, gardening, hiking, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, George Lindow and her parents, Thomas and Margaret Keating of Lismore, Ireland. She is survived by her children: Colleen Lindow, Raymond (Theresa) Lindow; Jennifer (Scott) Fell; and grandchildren: Raymond Lindow, Jr., Samantha Lindow, Sienna Fell and Savanna Fell. Also surviving are her brothers Ron Keating (Lismore), Noel Keating (Cork) and Laurence Keating (Lismore), her sisters Sheila Reid (London) and Chrissie Keating (Kilkenny), and her lifelong friends Rena Popivchak (Oregon) and Elaine Polk.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Warchol Funeral Home, 3060 Washington Pike in Bridgeville. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Child Church (Corpus Christi Parish), 212 Station Street, Bridgeville, on May 2, 2026 at 10:00am.

The family thanks Commonwealth Hospice for the comfort their staff provided during Kay’s final days. They also wish to recognize and thank the staff at Fritz Physical Therapy in Carnegie, who devoted many hours to keeping Kay’s body moving and her spirits high.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Parish or the Bridgeville Public Library.
