Age 84, of South Fayette Twp., passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Smith, Jr.; loving mother of Pam McKenzie, Craig McKenzie, Miles McKenzie, Bethany Smith, and Brooke Carter; devoted grandmother of Alicia McKenzie; daughter of the late George and Mary (Davis) Smith; sister of the late Wendell Smith and the late Charles “Sonny” Smith; cherished aunt of Carla, Coni, Bridgette, Maria, and Jeffrey.  Also surviving are a host of loving relatives and friends. Carolyn was a very generous person, who always took care of her family before herself. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a great cook, always providing delicious meals for her family. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private.
