Larry R.

Age 81, of Peters Twp., passed away on March 8, 2026.  Beloved son of the late Mary Ann (Dr. Frank) Wagenseller; husband of Deborah Gallant Hamblet and the late Anelita Miles; loving father of Larry A. (Kimberly) Miles, Jill (John) Cole and Molly (Joe) Franjione; devoted Pap to John Cole, Joey (Maddie) Franjione, Sam Franjione, Angelina Cole, and Isabella Franjione; brother of the late Mary Ann (Steve) Varmecky.  Also deceased are his three furry best friends, Joker, Tina and Kallie; surviving is his best buddy, Winston.  Mr. Miles was a 1962 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania.  He made his career in the surety bond business and owned and operated Miles Agency, Bridgeville, for many years.  In his younger years, Larry was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a devoted sports dad, eager to attend all of his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.  Friends received Thursday, March 12, from 10 am to 12 noon, at which time a service will be held at 12 noon, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333).  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice in Larry’s memory.  View and add condolences at: www.warcholfuneralhome.com.
