William Quinn Coogan Sr. Age 97 of Scott Township died February 21, 2026. Son of the late John and Gertrude (Quinn) Coogan. Beloved husband of 56 years to the late Marge Coogan. Survived by his loving children, Micky Flavin (Dan), Bill Coogan Jr. (Beth), Dan Coogan (Yvonne) and Nancy Lesniakowski (Bob). Proud Granddad to Danielle Cenna(Tom), Brian Flavin (Julie), Diane Novosel (Ryan), Laura Mackler(Alexander), Matthew Coogan (Amie), David Coogan (Leigh), Jeff Coogan (Katie), Andrew Coogan (Linda) and Carly Lesniakowski (Dave). He was an even prouder Great Grandfather to Olivia, Noah and Charlotte Novosel, Anthony Cenna, Sam, Sadie and Sawyer Mackler, James, Jack and Hunter Coogan, Willem Coogan and Madisyn Coogan, Sklyar Campanicki and two expected great grandchildren. Sibling to Brother Coleman Coogan, FSC and Gertrude Johnson. He was preceded in death by brother, Jack Coogan. Also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.

Bill was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School and the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering. He had a successful career as a licensed professional engineer. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and the American Legion and lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.

His family would like to thank Liberty Dialysis, Gallagher Hospice and St. Clair Hospital for their outstanding care. We extend our gratitude to the staff and residents of Concordia Bridgeville for their immense kindness and love expressed to Bill. Especially Diane and Sylvia. Friends received Friday, February 27, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 28, 10 am, at St. Simon and Jude Church of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish.
