Age 79, of Cecil Twp., passed away suddenly on February 2, 2026. He was born on September 26, 1946, in Philadelphia. A son of the late Joseph and Margaret Marshall Walker. On February 13, 1971, he married the love of his life, Linda Lee Minton, who survives. Bruce retired from the University of Pittsburgh maintenance department after many years of service. He enjoyed vacationing with his family and was affectionately known as the “Candy Man” to his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and was a true prankster. A lifetime member of the Collier’s Sportsmens Association, he was an avid hunter. He was also an avid runner, competing in several marathons and triathlons. He will be sadly missed by his family, who adored him. Surviving along with his wife are three children; Holly Lynn Walker, Nathan Lewis (Bess) Walker and Jared (Sheila Fisher) Walker, five grandchildren; Tori (Ethan) Taylor, Zach, Nate, Nico and Drew Walker, three great grandchildren; Everly, Ryan Margaret, and Ani Taylor, two nephews; Kenny and Bruce Walker, and a niece, Nicole Walker. Deceased is a brother, Kenneth G. (late Linda) Walker. Friends received on Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a service will be held on Wednesday at 12 PM. Interment with military honors to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
