Age 62, of South Fayette, on January 23, 2026.  Beloved wife of Mike Rose; loving mother of Meghan (Adam) Nyswaner, Kyle (Valerie) Rose, and Zach (Dominique) Rose; cherished daughter of Janet and the late Louis Thomas; proud grandmother of Oaklee Nyswaner, Arlo Nyswaner, and Calvin Rose; sister of Jodi (Daniel) Michael, Lou (Shelly) Thomas, Tim (Melissa) Thomas; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  A former school teacher at Holy Child and St. Thomas More Schools; Christine was the recipient of the Diocese of Pittsburgh 2013 Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching and leadership among Catholic school educators. She was a devoted teacher who loved her profession and her students. Chris was a proud grandmother and cherished her family vacations to Myrtle Beach.  She loved WVU sports.

The family sincerely thanks Aunt Teresa Sullivan for her loving care and support.  Her kindness will always be treasured.  

Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christine’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association to support research on Posterior Cortical Atrophy.
