Joseph “Joe” Michael Cusick, age 74, of Bridgeville, passed away peacefully at home in the company of his wife on January 18, 2026, after a courageous 16-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Devoted husband of Joan “Joanie” (DeMicheli) Cusick, loving son of the late Joseph and Anne (Fiorillo) Cusick, brother of Joanne (late Richard) Meredith, also many loving cousins. Brother-In-Law of Ronald (Paula) DeMicheli and the late Dennis DeMicheli, uncle of Nicholas (Samantha) DeMicheli, and great uncle of Sabrina DeMicheli.

Joe was born on June 15, 1951, in Pittsburgh and graduated from St. Elizabeth High School. He had a successful career in automobile sales and loved spending winters in Cocoa Beach, Florida with his beloved Joan. Never one to slow down, even in retirement, Joe exercised his lifelong passion for food and cooking by working part-time as a cook at several establishments in the Pittsburgh area. He shared his culinary skills and enthusiasm with Joan’s family and friends, especially at Bonnie’s annual Christmas Eve dinner.

Most knew Joe as an avid golfer, who enjoyed countless rounds on the links with friends at Steubenville Country Club. At the top of his game, he carried a +3 handicap, and he earned a hole in one at Wildewood Club in South Carolina. He loved to watch golf almost as much as he enjoyed playing it, and he was a loyal fan of the Steelers and Pirates. Joe will be lovingly remembered for his kindness, integrity, and dry sense of humor.

Friends received Wednesday, January 21, from 2-6 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a funeral service will be held Thursday, January 22, at 11:30 am.
