Aida (Amicarelli)

Age 91, of South Fayette Township, on July 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Ralph DiNardo; loving mother of Bido (Cathy Martincic) DiNardo, Paul (Suzanne) DiNardo; cherished grandmother Daniel (Diana) DiNardo, Michael DiNardo; great grandmother of Zachary DiNardo, Vivienne DiNardo, Haley DiNardo, and Trent DiNardo; sister of the late Enzo, Fernando, Nennella, Ione, and Manrico; loving aunt of Frank (Megan) DiNardo, Ralph (Debbie) DiCaprio, Maria (Eric) White, and the late Mia Fodor, and great aunt of Joseph (Nicole beloved caretaker) Fodor, Michael (Donnie) Fodor, Eric (Emily) DiNardo, Brian (Caitlin) DiNardo, Kristine (Danny) Mcllvaine, and Lauren (Tyler) Mikolajewski. A graduate of Baldwin Wallace College, she earned her master’s degree from Duquesne University. Aida was a longtime language teacher at Chartiers Valley High School and sponsor for the Spanish and French Clubs, retiring in 1993. She volunteered at St. Clair Hospital, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking terrific Italian meals for her family. Aida was a longtime member of Holy Child Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. Family and friends received on Monday from 3-7 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Memorials may be made to the Bridgeville Area Food Bank.
