John Michael Bizzack, 63, of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly at home on June 19, 2025 with his beloved dog Hunter by his side.

Born on October 30, 1961, in Washington, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Donald and Helen (Naylor) Bizzack. Forever loved, he will be deeply missed by Maryellen, his devoted wife of 26 years, his son Matthew (Lara) Bizzack and grandchildren Luke and Clare Bizzack. He is predeceased by his father-in-law Michael Bonwill Sr., his brother-in-law Jim Bilskis, and his cherished hunting dog and companion, Bristol. John is survived by his mother-in-law Concetta Bonwill, sisters-in-law Deborah (Bryan) Conklin, Stephanie Bilskis, brother-in-law Michael (Linda) Bonwill, Jr. and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

After graduating from Trinity High School in 1979, he attended Forbes Health System’s EMT Paramedic Institute, becoming a certified paramedic and working for the Ambulance and Chair Service in Washington. He also served as a volunteer fireman and after obtaining his pilot’s license, John flew for Aero National, Inc. Air Ambulance Services.

John joined Drakenfeld Colors in 1982 and held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his career, most notably in Technical Service and Sales. He traveled North America serving customers in the automotive and architectural glass industries. He completed his career in the glass industry as a Technical Sales and Service Engineer for Pemco Corporation in 2012.

He attended the H.R. Stackhouse School of Fishery Conservation and Watercraft Safety, becoming a Waterways Conservation Officer for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and serving for 11 years. He used his passion for the outdoors to protect, conserve and educate others. John was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and shooting especially with his son Matt, his dad, nephew Dustin and, in later years, with grandson Luke. His dog Bristol was a faithful companion and hunting buddy for many years.

John was also an entrepreneur, establishing Bizzack Screen Printing and running a successful business for several years. During his retirement, he worked for Home Depot’s Merchandise Execution Team.

John touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his warm generosity and unmistakable sense of humor. A true nature lover, John found joy in learning about and observing wildlife. His passion was matched only by his eagerness to share what he learned. John and Maryellen shared a love of travel which led them on memorable cruises and trips to Europe, Alaska, Maine, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, historic battlefields, many national parks and landmarks including Yellowstone, Old Faithful, Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon and more.

His down-to-earth personality and quiet wisdom made him a natural storyteller, often weaving knowledge and humor into every conversation. He especially enjoyed cooking for loved ones, delighting family and friends with his famous deer camp chili, biscuits and gravy, elaborate breakfast buffets, ribs and more during visits and gatherings. For John, sharing a meal was just another way to give of himself. Kind and always generous with his resources, time and knowledge, John will be remembered not only for what he knew, but for how wholeheartedly he gave of himself to others.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM on July 20th at the Alpine Hunting and Fishing Club, 220 Alpine Road, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania 15017.
