Janet L. Meyers, of Sturgeon, on June 17, 2025, at the age of 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Loving mother of Judi (Tim) Bedillion, and Jodi (Bill) Dickinson; sister of Johnny (Marylou) McVicker and the late Kenny “Skip” McVicker; daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Sparkenbaugh) McVicker; cherished grandmother of Nicole (Bill) Naumoff, Jordan (Jared) Lawrence, Shauna Bedillion, and Cody (Seminole) Dickinson and great grandmother of Phoenix Lawrence, Soren Lawrence, Landon Naumoff, Paisley Dickinson, Bishop Lawrence, Owen Naumoff, Delilah Dickinson and Rhett Dickinson. Also survived by her beloved dog Katy. Janet loved sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. She enjoyed playing softball and spent a lot of time traveling with her team. She was a retired employee of Craig Medical and the Sturgeon U.S. Post Office. Janet was the matriarch of her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and hosting all the family holiday gatherings in the home that she loved so much. She enjoyed puzzles, playing Euchre, and was an avid animal lover.
