Obituary of Patricia L. (McVay) Collavo

Age 90, of Upper St. Clair, passed away on May 27, 2025. Beloved wife of Bob Collavo, loving mother of Robert Collavo, Sheryl (Nicholas) Papakie, Jr., Jeffrey (Paula) Collavo, Steve (Jenna Latour) Collavo, Daniel (Jennifer) Collavo and the late Mike Collavo, devoted grandmother of Tom (Celeste) McCombs, Samantha Costello, Abigail Collavo, Morgan Collavo, Eli Collavo, Nathan Collavo, Brad Bauman, Austin Collavo and A.J. Collavo, great-grandmother of Scarlett McCombs and Sterling McCombs, sister of the late Sandra Shannon, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pat was a deeply thoughtful woman—always checking in with her family, cooking and baking their favorite meals, cheering them on through their triumphs, and showering her grandchildren in love. She had a kind soul and a gift for making others feel appreciated and valued. Her tender nature shone through in her passion for gardening, her love of puzzles, and the long, meaningful conversations she shared with her grandchildren about life, love, dreams, and the ever-changing world. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, June 7, at 2 pm, at the Warchol Funeral, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333).
