Obituary of Juanita Mae Besso

Besso Juanita Mae (Alvarez) Age 81, of Scott Twp., passed away on May 9th, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Grace and Emil Alvarez, loving wife for 42 years of the late Joseph Besso, sister of the late Terry Alvarez and his wife Laura Alvarez, who survives, cousin of Carol Barnes and godmother of Christy (Joe) Villella and Lori (Dan) Laffer. Best friend of Joanne (Bob) Berdnik and her children, Rob and Kim. Juanita worked for Scott Twp. Tax Office for 18 years and was a lifetime member of Bower Hill V.F.D. Family and friends received on Friday, May 16th, from 10 am to 11 am, at which time a Blessing Service will be held at 11 am, at Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). Private interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
