Obituary of Albert Henry Saussol

Age 69, of Gladden in South Fayette Township, unexpectedly passed on May 10, 2025. Beloved husband of Kathleen (McCabe) Saussol, with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this July. Loving father of Albert Jason Saussol and Stacy Amber (Jon) Taucher; cherished grandfather of Addie, Ella, Jonny, and Jace; son of the late Albert P. and Virginia M. (Rodgers) Saussol; brother of Sandra (Dave) Tournay; brother-in-law of Kenneth (Peg) McCabe. Al loved dogs, and he was survived by his beloved dogs Sadie and Roxy. Al served proudly with the U.S. Army. He worked for 17 years at Universal Cyclops before continuing his career with Port Authority of Allegheny County, where he remained until his retirement in 2017. Throughout his life, he cherished spending time with his family during their trips to their cabin in Tionesta, where they created countless lasting memories together. Al was the one you always went to when you had a project or an important decision to make. He could help to guide you through any life scenario. He always gave good advice and helped you to always come to the right decision. He was a friend to many and will be remembered for his generous and selfless heart. Family and friends received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333), where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM.
