Obituary of Rayma J. Chappel
Age 67, of Bridgeville, passed away on Thursday, May 8th , 2025. Daughter of the late Raymond and Irma Chappel; beloved wife of the late Ronald Tokarczyk; loving mother of Laurel Tokarczyk (David Onyshko) and Merrill (Charles) Grese; grandmother of Nora and Charlie Grese; sister of Roberta (late Elio) Dreon, Dolly (late Bill) Chappel, and Harold (Nancy) Chappel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rayma was a gifted musician who joyfully shared her musical talents, bringing joy to the lives of so many around her. She began her musical journey playing the clarinet in the South Fayette ‘Little Green Machine.’ She went on to learn and love the harmonica, but her true love was the piano. She became the organist at Gladden United Presbyterian Church where she remained a loyal and devoted member of the staff and congregation for over 30 years. Rayma was cherished by her family and church family for her warm, kindhearted, innocent nature and infectious positivity. She was an inspiration to her family and anyone who had the pleasure of calling her a friend. Rayma was role model to her daughters and everyone she met for her unwavering faith, strong will, and strength. She will be deeply missed, and her infectious spirit and resilience will be eternally treasured.
