Obituary of Pauline (Naleppa) Oyler
Age, 91, of Scott Township, formerly from Rennerdale in Collier Township, on April 23, 2025. Pauline is survived by her husband of 63 years Joseph Klees Oyler; children Paul (Barbara) Oyler MD, Joseph, Douglas (Arlene), and Rebekah (Michael) Steele MD; grandchildren Daniel Oyler, Jessica Oyler, David Oyler, Amanda Oyler, Lauryn (Jacob) Smith, and Michaela Steele; cherished sister of Michael (Margaret) Naleppa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Dorothy Moehring Naleppa, and by her brother, George (the late Mary Joan) Naleppa and her sister Marie (the late Joseph) Tomey. She graduated from Scott Township High School in 1951 and earned a certificate in secretarial science at Robert Morris School in 1952. Prior to becoming a homemaker and raising her children she was employed at Koppers Company and Duquesne Light Company. For many years Pauline worked as a volunteer for Carnegie Meals on Wheels and as an escort at St Clair Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Bridgeville where she served as a deacon and sang in the choir. Pauline enjoyed hiking, dancing, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, attending concerts with Joe, and painting[oils and ceramics]. Family and friends received on Sunday from 2-6 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville, PA 15017. Everyone please meet at church.
