So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Uncle Bob. We had some great family get-togethers growing up which are a cherished part of my memories. I love you all of my cousins. He will be greatly missed.

Here are some recent "gems" I found. God bless you Uncle Bob! The "Bobfather..." (Uncle Bob is my Godfather.)

Sorry for this deep sadness, as your father was a wise man, who lived a full, rich life. His journey from childhood, raised by loving parents and heritage, that encouraged education and the pursuit of knowledge, lead him to search for his dream, and I believe Uncle Bob found his passion. His service with the U.S. Army and tireless commitment with the Red Cross spoke to his outreach to others in need. His career and teaching provided the venue to touch the lives of so many, and I know, indirectly the lives of many more. For me, Uncle Bob was my Dad’s younger brother, and reflecting back over the years, they shared that bond, friendship, respect with / to each other, from their youth, during schooling, and throughout their careers, and of course, in the raising of their own families. It would “be interesting” comparing my Dad’s stories with Uncle Bob’s versions, as there was always the pondering question ..., who used “the gift of gab” to tell the better tale? To my cousins, I’m glad my Dad taught your father his sense of humor!, which we all inherited. Much love to all, peace, until we meet again, Mary.
“Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.”
