Obituary of Nick Mamula

Age 94, of Rennerdale, on March 15, 2025. Beloved husband of Marion (Weidner) Mamula for 66 years; loving father of Nicholas (Gwen) Mamula, Cindy (Dennis) Sypien, Michael W. (Maryann) Mamula, and Nadine (Michael) Godwin; preceded in death by his siblings Helen Schoffield, Anna Horsefield, Rosie Kovalchick, Milosh, Duke, George, Roy, Charlie, Sam, and Eli Mamula, Sophie, Sam and George Mrvos, Helen Schade, and Mitch, Mildred and Pauline Ogresovich; cherished grandfather of Niko, Ashton, Andrea and Adison Mamula and Taiya Godwin; also many nieces, nephews and close friends.. Nick served proudly with the U.S. Army from 1948-1952 with the 325th Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. He began his career with Collier Township Police Department in 1955 and retired as Chief of Police in 1993. Family and friends received on Saturday from 6-8 PM and Sunday from 2-6 PM, at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday at 11 AM, at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
