Obituary of Elaine Schneider

Age 94, of Bridgeville, passed peacefully at home on March 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife for 70 years of John P. “Jocko” Schneider, loving mother of Lise Schneider, Susan Schneider, Timothy Schneider and John (Ann) Schneider, devoted grandmother of Aaron (Gina) Mascaro, Shane (Jenny) Franchick, Matt (Erica) Franchick, Rachel (Steve) Spencer, Erik (Mary Claire) Schneider and Elizabeth “Libby” Schneider, great-grandmother of Kayla, Liam, Virginia, Aaron, David, Xavier, Isaac, Shane, Nolan, Haisley, Lucy, Eleanor, Joan and Amelia, sister of the late Shirley (Ed) Dombrosky, Vivian (Nick) Nichols and Beverly (Bob) Hoffman. Elaine was a retired employee of JCPenney. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed needlework and playing Bingo. Friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-9 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412) 221-3333, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. Interment will take place on Tuesday, March 25, at 12:30 pm, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
