Age 53, of Freeport Township, on March 6, 2025. Born on April 28, 1971, in Carrolton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Jolena Gaines, and was a graduate of West Greene High School, class of 1990. Jodi had a huge heart and always took care of others who were going through a hard time. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed baking and story telling with them. She is survived by her loving children J.R. (Fiancée Mia) and Brittany (Travis) Gilbert; grandchildren Ryker Gilbert and Xavier Rebold; best friend Bobby Sovil; bonus daughter Nicole Sovil; bonus grandchildren Mary-Ann Corwin, Ariana Clark, and Hannah Clark; brothers Junior Gaines, Brady Gaines, and Randy (Sarah) Gaines; also many loving nieces and nephews. At Jodi’s request there will be no services.
