Obituary of Domenic L. Petrillo

Age 92, a lifelong resident of South Fayette, on March 1, 2025. Beloved husband of Shirley (Mariani) Petrillo for 65 years; loving father of Lori (Tom) Transue, Todd (Kellie) Petrillo, the late Brad Petrillo, and Gregg (Michelle) Petrillo; preceded in death by his parents Gaetano and Anna (Tatone) Petrillo, and siblings Rebecca (Charles) Heflin, Domenica (Gene) Chaussard, Frank (Joann) Petrillo, and Elizabeth Petrillo; cherished grandfather of Lindsey Petrillo, Matthew Petrillo, Jessica Transue, Michael Transue, Emily Petrillo, Domenic Petrillo and Anthony Petrillo; also survived by his beloved dog Lexi. Domenic retired from Union Nation Bank after a 35 year career. He was an avid South Fayette sports fan, especially football. He loved the community in South Fayette, and also enjoyed golf. Family and friends received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish. Memorial donations may be made to the Center for Organ Recovery and Education, or to the charity of your choice.
