Genevieve M. (Carroll) Jarvis Obituary

Age 101, of Upper St. Clair, on February 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Harlan P. Jarvis; loving mother of Woody (Trudy) Jarvis and the late Christy (John) Callen; cherished grandmother of Lindsey (Rick) Wessell and Keith Jarvis and great grandmother of Elias, Sam, and Hope Wessell; sister of Mary Ann Strum; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Genevieve was an avid golfer and member of a Ladies Golf League, and she always played with her husband Harlan on Fridays. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed playing bridge. Genevieve wanted to be remembered for having a kind heart and the love of her family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Friendship Village Health Center and Gallagher Hospice for their love and compassion. Family and friends are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, February 13, 1:00 pm, in the St. Clair Room at Friendship Village. Refreshments to follow. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
