Obituary of Barbara L. (Davis) Scott

Barbara L. Scott, 79 of Bridgeville PA passed away on January 31, 2025 surrounded by family and friends in St. Clair Hospital. Barbara was born in Washington PA to Jack Sr. and Kathleen Davis on October 20, 1945. She attended Union High School and graduated in 1963. She went on to further her education at Duff’s Business School. She worked for 43 years at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Industries (PPG) as an International Tax Accountant. She married her husband, Ralph Scott on July 1, 1967 and enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Barbara was very involved with her church and held the position of Financial Secretary at Mt. Lebanon Christian Church and sang in the choir there for many years. Times traveling with her husband, friends and family were some of her most treasured memories. She enjoyed cruising and spending time with all the loving people in her life. Barbara is survived by her husband, Ralph Scott and her siblings, Beverly (Gary) Rankin, Jack Jr. (Renay) Davis, and Charles (Shawn) Davis and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333) on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 12:30 PM with Reverend Cindy McClung of Mt. Lebanon Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/ or Mt. Lebanon Christian Church https://www.mtlebocc.org/
